Refund Schedule
Refund Schedule FAQ for Credit Courses
1. Where can I find the Refund Schedule?
- The Refund Schedule is posted in the Triton College Course Catalog 2024-2025 Refund Schedule
2. What are the primary changes to the refund schedule?
- The refund schedule now has two clear deadlines:
- 100% Refund: Available within the first seven calendar days from the start of a course.
- No Refund: Applies after the seventh day for courses lasting five weeks or longer, or as of the first day for courses shorter than five weeks.
3. How does non-attendance impact refund eligibility?
- Non-attendance does not automatically withdraw a student from a course, nor does it qualify them for a refund. Students must officially withdraw within the designated deadline to receive a refund.
4. How will the policy be enforced for online courses?
- Online courses follow the same refund deadlines.
5. Are there exceptions to the no-refund policy after the deadline?
- Generally, refunds are not provided after the deadline, regardless of the student’s situation, including cases of disciplinary dismissal. However, documented emergencies, such as a medical emergency, may be considered by submitting a general petition, which is considered on a case-by-case basis.
